Litigation Intelligence

Stop Guessing · Start Measuring.

Traditional jury research is powerful, but it can be expensive, time-consuming, and difficult to repeat as a case changes.

LIT IQ gives attorneys and claims professionals a way to test the case earlier, more often, and at a fraction of the cost. Run mock trials, focus groups, and deep-dive community attitude research from your laptop, then rerun scenarios as new evidence, witnesses, and settlement positions emerge.

See how jurors, judges, and arbitrators may respond to your liability story, damages, witnesses, themes, and key arguments from early evaluation through discovery, mediation, settlement, and trial.

  • For attorneys, that means better themes, better witness preparation, and fewer surprises in the courtroom.

  • For claims professionals, it means clearer visibility into exposure, stronger reserve and authority decisions, and a better sense of when to settle and when to try the case.

Test strategy before it reaches the courtroom and know where the case is moving before the verdict does.

What is LIT IQ?

LIT IQ is our proprietary litigation risk simulator for trial lawyers and risk managers.

It models the demographic and attitudinal realities of a specific venue and applies them to your case at any stage of litigation.

Each assessment is powered by a standing panel of synthetic jurors calibrated to the venue. As the case evolves, LIT IQ measures changes in exposure, credibility, persuasion, and damages risk rather than relying on a single snapshot.

In jury trials, LIT IQ models the likely jury pool. In bench trials and arbitrations, it can be used to evaluate how a judge or panel may respond to the case.

It delivers many of the insights of a mock trial or focus group, with the ability to test new evidence, witnesses, themes, and strategic shifts as the case develops.

For litigators, LIT IQ helps sharpen themes, test witnesses, and pressure-test liability and damages before those issues reach the courtroom.

For risk managers, it provides structured visibility into exposure to support stronger reserve, authority, and settlement decisions.

What Makes
LIT IQ's Jurors Think

Not statistical models: thinking, deliberating, authentic synthetic jurors

Local Authenticity

Every juror reflects real community values. An Austin teacher thinks differently than a Cleveland engineer—complete with regional speech patterns, cultural norms, and local attitudes.

Individual Perspectives

Each juror has a unique decision-making lens—some are naturally skeptical, others empathy-driven or process-focused. These perspectives shape how they evaluate credibility and fairness.

Human-Like Reasoning

Just like real jurors, our synthetic jurors think in three layers: gut reaction first, then evidence evaluation, then reflection on community standards and fairness.

Real Group Dynamics

Jurors don't just vote—they interact, debate, persuade, and shift opinions. Watch how a vocal skeptic influences a quieter empathetic juror over time.

Validated Accuracy

Every simulation is calibrated against real verdict data and peer-reviewed research, ensuring outcomes are based on science, not guesswork.
