Staci Watson, JD
Staci Watson is a Senior Trial Analyst at LIT IQ and one of the team’s most trusted strategic voices. Since joining Rick in 2010, she has worked on hundreds of cases nationwide, bringing together legal analysis, communication strategy, jury research, and practical trial experience.
Before joining the team, Staci served as a chamber attorney to Chief Justice Adele Hedges of the Texas Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston. That experience sharpened her ability to identify legal pressure points, simplify complex arguments, and spot weaknesses in a case before they become problems in the courtroom.
At LIT IQ, Staci plays a central role in helping translate research and data into litigation strategy. She works with trial teams to evaluate how jurors and other decision-makers are likely to react to witnesses, themes, evidence, credibility issues, and damages arguments. Her work helps connect the technology behind LIT IQ with the practical decisions lawyers and claims professionals have to make every day.
Staci also helps design and analyze pretrial research, including focus groups, mock trials, community attitude studies, and LIT IQ simulations. She takes what we learn from those exercises and turns it into actionable strategy for voir dire, opening statements, witness examinations, settlement posture, and trial presentation.
As LIT IQ continues to expand, Staci helps ensure that the platform remains grounded in real trial behavior, real juror psychology, and the practical realities of litigation. She brings the human judgment behind the data, helping clients understand not just what the research is showing, but what to do with it.
